Question about Discord

#1

Hi,

My name is Red. I am a big Alex Jones fan. I listen often, made several audio and video parodies of Alex Jones over the years, and bought a number of videos and things off his site before he moved over to the supplements business.

Some months ago, I joined Alex’s Discord. I was surprised at the amount of hate for Alex Jones on his own Discord and the postings of gore and adult content there.

I posted several of the parodies and tributes I made of Alex Jones, as well as other parodies and tributes which were some of my favorites but have since been taken down from YouTube. Some of these parodies and tributes included vulgar content. I also posted a lot of anime and memes to the Discord. People were posting worse things like gore, and there was no #rules section, so I didn’t have any reservations about posting the adult content parodies.

The next day, I was banned.

I logged on the day after with a throwaway email and a VPN, to find out what happened. All the stuff I posted was wiped, as you can do when you ban people from Discord (I run my own public Discord, Chibiusa Video Club, which I won’t spam but it is in all the major directories). Nobody from Infowars acknowledged anything I said, and other people who were still posting gore, were surprised that I as pro-Alex-Jones would be banned, while they all hated him.

My only guess is that one of these parodies was hosted on a site called PeerTube, which had an image of Donald Trump chosen as the thumbnail. However, for some reason Discord chose a random thumbnail from the video, which happened to be a vulgar troll image. The video in question involved a parody of Alex Jones and Caveman Bone Broth. Again due to the content there, I decided to let it stay.

My only other guess as to why I was banned was because I said that I was a “#NeverTrump” Republican who switched sides after Donald Trump won the primaries, though have since come to support Trump in time for 2020. I also said I disagreed with Alex Jones on vaccines, had differing views on some of the conspiracy theories, and a few other things.

I joined the read-only Infowars Army server for a while, and just joined it again, and have not been banned from that.

I’m still upset about this. I sent messages to the Infowars people, but received no response. I even sent a message over Discord PM warning of a Reddit user who was using the platform for doxing Alex Jones and his fans and took credit for having a secret Alex Jones account on Instagram shut down. No
response and still banned. I hope I am at least welcomed here on the forum. With so many groups banning people they disagree with on random issues, or conspiring to have them shut down from other places, and others forcing things to be family-friendly, free speech is hard to find.

Does anyone know why despite all the parodies and tributes I posted, some of which I made myself, I was banned, and am being ignored when I try and find out why or show my support, especially in contrast to these Alex Jones haters and gore posters who were allowed to stay?

Thank you!

Why won’t you spam your stuff here? I do.

I wasn’t intending to “spam” though, that’s the thing, while other people were.

I’d rather not post the content again, especially the NSFW stuff, so I don’t get banned from here too.

Welcome into this forum.

Not like I’m a moderator or anything (you’d know if I were), but I did notice similar things about Discord. That’s going to happen when you create a true public square. Most of them I’ve just been putting on ignore (usually the ones that want to use the everyone tag, spammers, and such). I didn’t see anything you posted, so I wouldn’t know.

There are a number of people within the group that are weary of “Never Trump Republicans” because of what we’ve seen with both the MSM and some of the previous candidates, putting party over policy. I’ve made it clear that I didn’t vote for Trump, not because I didn’t like him, but because I didn’t trust the GOP, having a long memory of what happened in 2011, and I started to see it a bit with Paul Ryan and the like after Trump was elected. But from what you posted, it seems like you’re putting party over policy, which is much more dangerous than someone who has policy belief that doesn’t agree, yet is firm with it.

That is a common practice promoted by political parties that has made America worse rather than better.

Support a candidate or not, fine. That is how it’s supposed to be.

Supporting a political party is suicide and is destroying America.

@redneonglow, did you know that some people posted porn on the INFOCOMMS and they were NOT banned. Other people did good things here and were banned. Their IP Addresses were banned, including mine. I’m not here. I’m a figment of your imagination. I was banned in the Infocomms.

Plenty of discord already on InfoComms.

The reason I voted for Hillary Clinton was because Trump seemed like an extremist, and I was surprised Alex Jones stood behind him because he seemed like he was going to expand the police state (like Bush only worse), start another war to fight ISIS, and shut down “fake news” Web sites he disagreed with. However, Trump turned out to be a really good President, speaking out against left-wing censorship of the Internet, supporting sentencing reform, and defeating ISIS without the need for regime changes.

When I checked back with the VPN, all the stuff I posted (including SFW things like my “Alex Joel” parody) was wiped. So my ban wasn’t accidental, if you know how Discord works when you ban someone, have the option for wiping out everything they posted the past few days.

@redneonglow, I am talking about this website and not Discord.

I’ve personally not used Discord, so I speak from some ignorance on the subject, but I’m curious…

Is this Discord server officially ran by Infowars or is it other people?

#12

@joey, no I never used this forum before, though I have run into it on search.

There are two different Discords. The Infowars Army Discord is read-only, and has feeds of Alex Jones, Owen Shroyer, PJW, etc. I logged into this again yesterday and was never banned from it.

There is the other unpublished Discord that you sometimes see the invite link for on this forum. IIRC that is run by Infowars staff. That allows for chat, but has no moderation bots, rules list, or anything, and as a result there were a lot of gore posts and raiders that were there. It was this one that I was banned from, and had all my submitted anime memes and tribute/parody videos wiped when I checked with the VPN.
